All my life, people asked me the same kinds of questions:
“Do you do tattoos?”
“Can you draw me?”
“Who did your hair?”
“So… are you an artist?”

For the longest time, my answer was usually, “No, not really.” Not because I couldn’t—but because I didn’t believe I was good enough. I downplayed my natural gifts, telling people I just liked making things out of curiosity and never practiced. And when asked, “Do you still do art?” my go-to response became, “I don’t have any vision or inspiration to try.”

But somewhere along the way, God stepped in and shifted everything. Through Christ, I realized HE is the vision I thought I lost. He’s the motivation I couldn’t find. He’s the one who reminded me that the creativity and scientific mind I kept pushing aside was purposeful—it was a gift he gave me to use for HIS GLORY.

Now I know this about myself: I am a creator from THE CREATOR
I’m a painter.
I’m a photographer.
I’m a braider.
I’m a maker of many things.

I may not fit into one neat little niche, but I have a calling—and I’m finally walking in it.
